A Unified Online Footprint

As a large multinational corporation, CNOOC had many disparate websites that made their online experience difficult to manage. Fishtank consolidated and simplified their online footprint into a unified user experience that was also easier to manage for their marketing team.

A Digital Upgrade

With their website previously on Sitecore 6, CNOOC’s CMS platform was outdated and holding them back. Fishtank gave them a new digital home, upgrading their CMS to Sitecore 9 XP, deploying new multi-environment infrastructure and giving them access to the latest digital marketing tools and features.

Empowered Content Authoring

CNOOC’s previous CMS and website was difficult to manage and update, and their team was heavily reliant on external vendors for simple changes to their site. Fishtank empowered CNOOC’s content authors and marketing team with the ability to edit and create content easily without technical assistance, as well as providing plenty of training to ensure they can expertly manage their web properties without any external assistance.

Rapid Delivery

A fast delivery of the project, with a four month life-cycle including discovery, infrastructure, design, build, testing, training and launch meant there was little disruption to overall web presence and CNOOC could take advantage of their new site and upgraded digital presence faster than ever.
